After sleepless hours, long indoor weekends and an overdose of C# and other weird languages, our development team finalised Paycycle’s first major upgrade since the launch. Yay for them!
Basically we have a better performing application, with a nicer look and feel (we are still in a far away land from where we want to be, but when you check it out, you’ll notice it looks MUCH better than it did in December!) and a lot more stable –meaning that a lot of the little issues that were making the system not so easy to user have been fixed-.
If you want to see all the improvements, you can log in and check them out!
Also, after a couple of suggestions on twitter and by email, we've been uploading some tutorials under Tour. There you'll find a basic help guide to walk you through setting up, managing employees and the likes, all updated to this latest release.
Today the team is up again and ready to keep working! Their next move will be to focus on improving the pay template page, and then working on leave entitlements and the likes.
We hope that, as time goes by and we keep improving the Beta version, you’ll find that running payroll is not so painful with Paycycle.
Keep letting us know what you think, what you like and what you don’t by suggesting and voting or commenting on our blog posts.
Cheers!
